The NDT Trainee will assist NDT Technicians in performing non-destructive Testing of materials while training to become a Certified Technician.
Duties:
Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment under the supervision of the Certified Technician; Assist NDT Technicians in testing to ensure quality non-destructive Testing Methods; Assist Radiographers in performing X-Rays of Piping and Equipment; Become familiar with required codes and procedures to carry out testing; Record results of inspections; Attend Radiation Safety Classes; Attend training classes required to obtain certification; Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
Experience:
No experience required - IRISNDT will provide classroom and on-the-job training; Knowledge of NDT and/or welding technologies will be considered an asset.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent; Valid Driver's License and pre-access drug and alcohol testing required; and Pre-employment background checks will be required.
Physical Requirements:
Move, carry, and lift objects 50 lbs.
or more; Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb; Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
